Xinhua news Xinhua News reported today that foreign Nations are voicing support for their actions in Tibet. WOW, I had to go find out who these peace loving nations where. Well here is the list of supporters. Russian, Belarus and Vietnam. These ivory bastions of peace and human rights have given their support to China. Well no kidding. Shanghai Daily SOMEWHERE in the world, there must be a humane way to check violence and terror. Otherwise, how could there be an uproar of condemnations and calls for restraint when China quieted down the riot in Lhasa with just limited tear gas and warning gun shots? The peaceful Chinese just trying to help those lost, enslaved Tibetans. How horrible of us to be critical. Read on, this gets good. I really wonder what world these people live in. OH wait. The Red Angel told me two days ago we where moving to a new apartment. So we have been down for a few days as we get our new internet set up in China. This can sometimes take some time. I will try to get on and post something as soon as possible. Again very sorry but the Red Angel seems to control the White Devil. She is pretty, smart and I am lucky to have her so I will do what she says.

Definition of Chinese person (Anyone who is a citizen of China and has parents and grandparents that are citizens of China.) By no means am I saying Asians in generally. Even though I have lived and worked in China for 4 years, I have a Chinese wife and a half Chinese baby. I still have "I hate Chinese people" days. These happen 2 or 3 times a month actually so they are not rare occurrences. Some of this can be blamed on my impatient temper but most of it is caused by the Chinese people themselves. Their attitude on life and how you treat others. I do not know what the Chinese where like before the revolution but I do know what they are like now. I have lived in 3 Chinese cites, two in the interior of China and have visited 7 different provinces. I have been to the biggest cites and the smallest villages. I have seen the richest people and the poorest. I have seen students, businessmen, farmers, politicians, mayors and governors. There seems to be one thread that connects them all.  Question: If the people of the Pacific Rim are so smart why cant they invent their own things instead of stealing it from America and reverse engineering them. First off the tone of this question is a little mean. The students are not doing this, the people are not doing this in general. Its the government and many of the business. However, in fairness I will ask any and all questions you guys want me to ask. Remember, the questions you ask reflect on America and Americans. So here we go with the answer. Many will surprise you I think. A few years back a chinese pilot ran into an American patrol plane and crashed. His name was Wong Wei and was the butt of jokes across the world becasue in english his name sounded like Wrong Way. Question: How did that make you feel? Did you notice that it angered your communist parents? Most of my students did remember this happening and a few actually remembered that his name was kind of funny. At first hey didn't realize that by making fun of the mans name we where actually making fun of the way people talked. At first most said they didn't care but after thinking about it they said it probable would have made them a little mad. As to their parents they said that they probable didn't even understand what was going on. To tell you all the truth, I have lived her a long time and most Chinese can make the R sound just find. They have a very similar sound in Chinese. Its only certain parts of China where this sound is hard to make. Many of the people from souther to southern cent.
