China: U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is disgusting

Xinhua news has a commentary about Pelosi and her dealings with the Dalai Lama.

“BEIJING, April 12 (Xinhua) -- If an opinion poll were to be carried out on the Internet in China to choose the most disgusting figure, U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi would probably be on top of the list, as she confused right with wrong on the issue of Tibet, held double standards to interfere in China's internal affairs, hurt the feelings of the Chinese people and impaired China-U.S. relations.”

Well looks like they win this argument. Pelosi is a democrat and once they say “hurt the feelings”  the democrats will buckle under.  We don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.  Especially the ChiComs.   The opening statement here just reeks of government control. I want to remind everyone that even though this is written in English it is meant for Chinese consumption. The Chinese really don’t care what we think in America as long as their mind numb citizens don’t protest.

The fact that Pelosi is detested by the Chinese people is closely connected with her recent move to clamor for "Tibet independence" and instigate "boycotting the Olympic Games".

BOO Freaking Hoo. The Chinese people detest Pelosi but love Mao and Hu.  I am not a big fan of Pelosi either but on this she is right and when someone is right I will supported that.  We as Republicans and Democrats can and should come together on this issue.

From meeting with the Dalai Lama in India to calling on U.S. President George W. Bush not to attend the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games, from making irresponsible remarks on the Olympic torch relay to proposing an anti-China resolution on Tibet passed Wednesday by the U.S. House of Representatives, Pelosi has never hesitated to flagrantly interfere in China's internal affairs with double standards. However, her show was anything but wise.

Save your threats for unarmed Tibetans. No on in the us is worried about what you think of Polosi and if what she said was “anything but wise”

As is known to all(the people in China but not the rest of the world and of course those Chinese/Tibetan separatist. I cant remember now. Tibetans Chinese or not?  Please get this straight, maybe I need a scorecard or something… ED), the Lhasa riots were masterminded by the Dalai clique(getting really tired of this word, please find a new one…ED) and organized by Tibet separatists in and outside China.(but wait I thought all Chinese where angry about Pelosi but now you say many Chinese in Tibet are supporters of Pelosi?  Which is it are Tibetans Chinese or not. If you cant figure it out how are we supposed to pick sides…ED) The riots have been condemned by the Chinese people of all ethnic groups. (Except those Chinese/Tibetan separatist that you just mentioned…ED)

The Beijing Olympic Games is a grand festival for people all over the world, especially for the 1.3 billion Chinese who have been anticipating the games with keen enthusiasm and have made serious preparations for it. But Pelosi and other U.S. congressmen spared no trouble to make harsh discords on the two issues, which seriously hurt the feelings of the Chinese people. How can such an irresponsible political figure not be detested by all the Chinese people?

Again except the Chinese Tibetans who support her.  I can’t do this anymore.  I will just call them Tibetans.  I can’t keep up with you guys going back and forth on this so I will just make a decision for you. Tibetans are not Chinese.  OH no and she hurt your poor little feelings again.  China never hurts people’s feelings. YOU JUST KILL THEM.

What she has done is simply an irresponsible act and a move to interfere in China's internal affairs, but Pelosi ostentatiously showed herself off as "a moral authority". When she met with the Dalai Lama in March in India, she appealed to the international community to exert pressure on China on the issue of Tibet, lest the highest standard of morality be lost. But what she has done runs counter to what she has trumpeted as "morality".

Say again?  Is this English?  I see letters and words but it really doesn’t make to much sense.

Pelosi, a California Democrat, was elected to the House of Representatives in 1987. Four years after the election, massive ethnic clashes broke out in Los Angeles and some other cities in California. At that time, the Federal and state governments moved in 10,000 security forces from the National Guard, the army and the navy to restore order. Thousands of people were arrested. However, She turned a blind eye to the violence in a state where she came from, without moving any motion on the Los Angeles riots. Where was her "moral authority"?

Massive ethnic clashes where black people attacked black people and burned down black peoples business’s for the most part. Thousands of people where arrested.  Now for a little lesson my little Chinese friends.  Arrested does not equal killed. You are killing people for protesting.  We arrested people for burning down buildings and stealing T.V.s  none of these people where advocating leaving the U.S. So I am not sure what you would want her to “motion” about.  The problem lasted about 2 or 3 days. Not 50 years.   I do see now where the liberals get their debating skills.  Cant win the argument so change the argument.  Comes right from the communist field book I guess.

Aleksandr Salitzky, an Economics and International Relations researcher at the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Vladimir Fisyukov, a commentator at the Voice of Russia radio station wrote in a recent article:

Pelosi was cynical while commenting on the situation in Tibet. The Chinese are fully justified to call her 'a protector of mobsters, arsonists and murderers. Why doesn't she give a thought to Iraq? The death toll of Iraqi civilians has risen to nearly 1 million as a result of the U.S. invasion.

Aleksandr Salitzky is interfering in “China's internal affairs”  â€œWhy doesn't she give a thought to Iraq?”  What?  You don’t watch the news.  She talks about this very issue daily.  She has made resolutions and motions on Iraq.  So trying to say she has a double standard by using Iraq just makes you look stupid.  I don’t agree with her on Iraq but she does exactly what you are saying she doesn’t.  Your are now discredited for any thing else you may say.  One, because you obviously don’t know what your talking about and two because you are from Russia.  “a protector of mobsters, arsonists and murderers.”

Pelosi has played double standards when it comes to the so-called "moral authority."

Again, completely discredited.  Try again for just 2 dollars you can have 3 more balls to try to hit the clown.  If you hit her you win a stuffed Panda.

Missing no chances of exerting pressure on countries she dislikes, the house speaker has already lost her moral credibility. Beneath the double standards lies her stubborn anti-China sentiment and uneasiness about China's peaceful rise.

Yes she does exert pressure on countries she dislikes.  Including the U.S. Now, about this  “China's peaceful rise” You came to power by taking over from the legitimate government of China. So I guess its ok for you but not the Tibetans. Then you fought in North Korea, Mongolia, Western China and Tibet.  You had a war with Vietnam, and lost. You sell arms to Darfur helping Islamic Facist kill hundreds of thousands of people.  You kill more of your own citizens then any country in the world and your hero Mao is responsible for the deaths of over 40 million Chinese.  Added to that you make daily threats to attack Taiwan.  Yes a very “peaceful rise”.

No one has given more incisive comments about Pelosi than Tom Pratt, a member of the Pacific Council on International Policy. He said Pelosi is habitually unforgiving and skeptical when it comes to China. With little good feelings towards the country, she is always uneasy about its peaceful rise.

There is that “peaceful rise.”  Thing again.  We had discounted that already. No need to do so again.  A little news for Mr. Pratt.  Most people in the world are very unforgiving and skeptical when it comes to China.  Including the Chinese citizens. Hard to forgive a government who just killed your brother and sold his kidneys to Japan.

He recalled a conversation with Pelosi several years ago when she said China was not entitled to free preferential treatment granted by the West because of China's many problems, its huge population and a miserable history.

"I was shocked by her remarks," Pratt added.

So by this statement we are to assume that Pratt believe that China does deserve “free preferential treatment” Why cant China just have the same treatment as everyone one else.  I Think Mr. Pratt may have a monetary stake in China’s success. So who has no morals?  The one who just wants money or the one who is taking a stand against dictatorship and Chinese imperialism.

Pelosi has emerged as a leading critic of the Chinese government after being elected a member of the House of Representatives.

She has persistently voted against China on every single legislation concerning China.

She opposed granting the Most Favored Nation (MFN) status to China under the lame excuses of "China's poor human rights and democracy records".

Yes we should all agree that human rights are always a lame excuse for anything.  Like “My alarm clock is broken that’s why I am late and how by the way human rights.”  All lame excuses.

She also repeatedly slammed the U.S. government on issues concerning China such as human rights, trade, weapons sales and Tibet.

Wait wait!!  You just contradict yourself again.  I thought she was a hypocrite because she slams China and not the U.S.  Maybe there is more then one person writing this column.  Maybe it’s a committee of CPC members.

During a congress trip to China in 1991, Pelosi, along with two other congressmen, unfurled a "pro-democracy" banner in Tiananmen Square, staging a "deliberately planned" anti-China farce.

Guess they where lucky you didn’t shoot them like you would have your own citizens.

Pelosi's acts, as commented by Thailand's Asia Times, are "more compatible with the Cold War atmosphere in the 1950s, which, however, is incongruous with the complicated world of the 21st century."

Thailand’s Asia Times?  Ok guys you really have to start getting real supporters from real countries.  Not ones who’s main claim to fame is sex with children.

What the house speaker has done will only strengthen the firm determination of the Chinese people to safeguard the social stability in Tibet, promote national solidarity and host a successful Beijing Olympics.

Here is this threat I keep hearing from China.  If we kill people you should just shut up or maybe we will kill more people.

Pelosi would remain the least popular person for China if she stiff-neckedly clings to her double standards and an anti-China stance.

And this is important because Chinese citizens can vote for her. Wait, not they cant. They cant vote for anyone.
