The same guy GuysOk posted on the site twice today. Calling me names and telling me I am fat and white trash. He saw the picture of Hooters I took. There is some random guy standing out front. Just happened to be walking by. So obviously this must be me. I posted the picture. Its not me. Don't even know the guy. He saw me taking a picture and camped it up for the camera. He also calls into question my teaching qualifications. He believe that because I am teaching in China I must not be able to get certified in the U.S. This may be true for some of his English Teachers but as for me I am a certified High School and Junior High history teacher. I have a Degree in History and Theater. I have been teaching for 15 years. I am also a football coach and played football for 15 years.. Shanghai Daily In an accidental admission today a report on the Shanghai Daily web page admits that Tibetans are not Chinese. "In Los Angeles, the Chinese American community has been enraged by "Tibet independence" activists' attempts to disrupt the global torch relay of the Beijing Olympics and some prominent members have acted to fight back, the Los Angeles Times reported on Friday." Read this carefully. They are saying that Chinese people do not support the Tibetan cause. Chinese people are "enraged" On one hand they claim Tibet and Tibetans are Chinese. But now we find out that anyone who supports Tibetan independence is not Chinese. Recieved this nice little threat from, what I believe, is a Chinese person today. "you are the light of liberty and truth? we as Americans? you know you can prove it to me, wear a free tibet tshirt, go on shanghai streets, see what happens. a tip for you, when ur life is in danger, call the cops, yeah, the chinese cops, those murdering sob, they might end up saving ur life." I do not remember every saying I was the light of liberty and truth. However, I do speak about free Tibet everyday in China. I speak to my student and anyone who will ask. If I wore a Free Tibet tshirt in Shanghai not a single thing would happen to me. As for Chinese cops I have already had many run ins with your ineffective bumbling police. To bad for the Tibetans its not the police that is there but the same units of the Army that killed the student in Beijing. No Chinese police office has the ability to "save my life" they only have the ability to take bribes, steal bicycles and beat defenseless nuns and monks. In our last installment of Ducks Cant Fly we talked about a few things that Chinese people think they know but are absolutely ridiculous. Like the fact that ducks cant fly. In this installment we I will talk about some study habits and thinks Chinese students think they know. 1. You can not study or read while you are eating. One day during class at a major university in Xi'an my students ask me how they can get better at English. I suggested reading their English books and only speaking English with each other at lunch. This met with unanimous disapproval. They told me with straight faces that they could not study or practice English at lunch because it was "bad for their health" and would cause them to have bad stomaches. more... Shanghai Daily Today the Chinese government gave a stern warning to the U.S. congress. Saying that the resolution in Congress was a "flagrantly distorted the history and reality of Tibet" Ok guys, I am really starting to get pissed off now. Who the hell do they think they are warning us for what we do in our congress. If the U.S. government doesnt grow a pair very soon then we should just bow down and become part of china. more... Since the Red Angel now has a Visa she must report to America. This will begin her quest to become an American. So on April 19th I will be taking a trip back to the states. First one in 4 years. Hope things have not changed to much. Will be nice to see my family and have my son see his grandparents. Unfortunately for me I will be coming back to China. My wife and son will be staying with my mother. I will miss them greatly and I thank god for the internet so I can stay in close touch with them. Seeing how I live in China and one of the main things I can do to kill the boredom is watch movies I have started a movie review section. However, this is China so the movies I buy are all pirated. Do I feel like a thief, hmm No not really. Do I feel a little guilty at all. NOPE not one bit. To tell the truth I enjoy the 5 rmb(75 cent) move purchase. So on to the first review. It is a very happy day in the White Devil's house. As of today my wife, The Red Angel, has been granted a Permanent Residents Visa to the U.S.A. It only took two years and about 4000 dollars to get it done. But we did it legally. Believe me, I was tempted to just buy a ticket to Mexico and sneak her across. I would like to contrast this with my friend from Canada. He got married to a Chinese girl and she was able to get her Visa to Canada in about 1 month. 2 years vs. 1 month. BEIJING, April 3 (Xinhua) -- China is seriously
concerned about and strongly discontented with a reported statement by the U.S.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on the Beijing Olympics, said a Chinese Foreign
Ministry spokesperson here Thursday.
The spokesperson Jiang Yu made the remarks when asked to comment on the statement in which Pelosi said "I believe that International Olympic Committee made a mistake in awarding the 2008 Summer Games to China."
